Kanye West, Billie Eilish and the Beatles highlight Apple Music 100 Best Albums Nos. 30-21

Apple Music's 100 Best Albums of all-time list is nearing the best of the best.
The streaming service released the 30-21 spots Monday highlighting another array of iconic records. Rock staples like Pink Floyd and Led Zepplein can be found on this section of the list as well as hip-hop legends Kanye West and A Tribe Called Quest.
The Beatles have made their way to the sacred list with their 1966 album "Revolver" which fused rock, psychedelia and R&B. David Bowie also broke into the list with "The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars," the 1972 record that featured the breakout "Starman."
Two-time Oscar-winner Billie Eilish also landed a spot on the list with "WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?" which won album of the year the 2020 Grammy awards when she was 19.

What is the Apple 100 Best Albums list?
In a news release, Apple said that the list was chosen by a committee that included artists, Apple Music employees, and industry insiders and that it is a "love letter to the records that have shaped the world we live and listen in." The California-based company said that it did not factor in streaming statistics when compiling the list.
Notable albums that have not made an appearance in Apple's list, yet, include "Michael Jackson's "Thriller" and "Bad", The Beatles' "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Harts Club Band" and Frank Sinatra's "In the Wee Small Hours."
Artist Nile Rodgers and Maggie Roger will take part in a roundtable discussion with Zane Lowe, Apple Music’s global creative director, and radio personality Ebro Darden when the top 10 are revealed on May 22. Apple has a website to help fans keep track of the countdown and has produced shoulder content on Apple Music Radio.
